Bubbling Brown Sugar

by Clarke Peters on January 28, 2017

The first big West End show that took the town by a storm. It was almost as if we wrote the reviews ourselves. Under the direction of Charles Augins, this company changed the face of musical theatre in England. It also gave birth to some rather fabulous talents: Hellen Gelzer, Amii Stewart  and Miquel Brown all Disco Queens of the era and spawned the next generation of dancers, all round performers and Divas.  Vocal arrangements By Chapman Roberts and Orchestral arrangements by Danny Holgate. Every one of these men went on to do great things in theatre. Look them up.
